Korra needs friends, guys. Not just a teacher, teammates, and guards.

She needs the support and security Aang had in Katara and Sokka. Mako isn’t offering it, and it isn’t part of his character to do so yet. That’s just where they are at the moment. Bolin hasn’t been given the chance, though I believe when push comes to shove, he would be the one to fight the hardest for her of the two.

Who does Korra have to comfort her when she awakens from a nightmare? Her polar bear-dog. And there’s no shame in that, but Aang couldn’t of coped with Appa alone.

She needs comfort.

I hope it develops soon or I’m going to cry.
