Hey there, I started watching FMA: Brotherhood, but there’s so much physical violence and gore already in the first few episodes… and I’m not quite sure if I like it, though the story seems interesting so far! So I wanted to ask you, will there be some kind of change and are the characters (especially Edward) going to develop into a more calm direction…? Right now I don’t like any of them that much, but I’m so excited for those sin embodying creatures! Any advice for my approach to that show?

Though I quite understand you, my friend wasn’t able to go far watching it because of mental pressure..no matter how much I recommended it.
And yes, the characters are evolving. Especially the Elric brothers.. Maybe I didn’t like Edward THAT much from the very beginning (I liked him though), but I DID really grew on LOVING him, you know. *not to mention how actually hot he becomes close to the end*. *not to mention edwin feels and bro feels*
Although, as for violence and gore and all that pressure I wouldn’t say it gets better…I’d even dare to say it gets worse. loads worse. like shit is going down and you have no idea how much it’s going down *_*
I’d say that the 4th episode (I don’t know, if you have already seen it or not) was the hardest for me to watch… and another few that I won’t mention if you’re actually try to keep watching.
But yeah, if you’re sensitive for such things you most likely will never be able to fully enjoy it because of that. I’d say you should try on continuing watching it, but, you know..everyone has different opinions so I can’t say anything to help you in approaching the show; we can simply have different views. (like I am not very sensitive for blood and that kind of stuff so it’s okay for me)
Though…there are at least two (for me) deadly sins that are SO worth watching. greed and envy aksdhasdc
